All original content published on BaynesWorld — articles, fact-checks, videos, graphics, verdict badges, the Impartiality Pledge, the site design, and all written copy — is owned by Roe Baynes / BaynesWorld and protected by US copyright law.
What you can do with it:
- Read it, share links to it, quote short passages (under 150 words) with clear attribution and a link back to the original article

What you cannot do with it:

The content published on Baynes World reflects the independent editorial judgment of Roe Baynes. It is not influenced by:

- Political parties, campaigns, or advocacy organizations

7. Membership Terms
Billing:
Memberships are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose. Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each billing period.
Cancellation:
You can cancel your membership at any time from your account page. No retention scripts, no dark patterns, no hoops to jump through. When you cancel, your membership remains active through the end of the current billing period and does not auto-renew. We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds:
We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for the most recent billing period if requested within 7 days of being charged. Email membership@baynesworld.com (update with your real email) with your request. We’re reasonable — if something went wrong, tell us.
What membership gets you:
Membership benefits are described on the membership page. We reserve the right to adjust benefits with reasonable notice to members. If we significantly reduce what a tier includes, we’ll notify affected members by email before the change takes effect and give you the option to cancel.
Account security:
Your account is your responsibility. Keep your password secure. Don’t share your login with others — membership is for individual use. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
8. Store Terms
Orders:
By placing an order through our merchandise store, you agree to provide accurate shipping information. We are not responsible for delivery failures caused by inaccurate addresses.
Fulfillment:
Orders are fulfilled by a third-party print-on-demand partner (Printify or Printful). Production typically takes 3-7 business days, with additional time for shipping. We are not responsible for carrier delays once an order has shipped.
Returns and refunds:
We want you to love your order. If something arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was shown, contact us within 14 days with photos and we’ll make it right — replacement or refund, your choice.
We do not accept returns for:
- Size exchanges (please check the size guide before ordering)
- Buyer’s remorse after the item has shipped
- Minor color variations due to screen calibration differences
Pricing:
Prices are in US dollars and subject to change without notice. The price displayed at checkout is the price you pay.
Sales tax:
Applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable law.
9. Crypto Donations
Crypto tips and donations sent to our published wallet addresses are:
- Voluntary — nothing on the site is paywalled based on crypto payment
- Non-refundable — blockchain transactions are irreversible by nature
- Not tax-deductible — Baynes World is not a registered nonprofit or charity
- Not investment-related — we display market data for editorial context, not as financial guidance
We will never create a Baynes World token, NFT, or presale. If you see one claiming to be affiliated with us, it is a scam. Report it.
10. Comments and Community Conduct
If commenting is enabled on this site, by leaving a comment you agree that:
- Your comment may be read by any visitor to the site
- We may moderate, edit, or remove comments at our discretion
- You will not post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or illegal
- You will not post spam, promotional content, or coordinated inauthentic content
- You grant Baynes World a non-exclusive license to display your comment on the site
We are not obligated to publish every comment submitted. We moderate based on our Community Guidelines, which are published on the site.
The same rules apply in our Discord community. Membership in the Discord is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the Discord for conduct that violates our house rules, with or without warning depending on severity.
11. User-Submitted Tips and Story Ideas
If you submit a story tip, correction suggestion, or source material to Baynes World, you understand that:
- We may or may not act on it
- We are not obligated to credit you publicly unless we specifically agree to do so
- Submitting a tip does not create an employment, contractor, or agency relationship
- We cannot guarantee confidentiality unless you specifically request it and we explicitly agree

12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
BaynesWorld and Roe Baynes are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, including but not limited to:

- Technical issues, downtime, or data loss

- Actions taken by other users in our community
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100, whichever is greater).
This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BaynesWorld and Roe Baynes from any claims, damages, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Disputes
Before filing any formal legal action, we ask that you contact us directly at legal@baynesworld.com to try to resolve the dispute informally. We’ll respond within 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if they qualify.
You waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Baynes World.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we do:

- For material changes affecting members, we’ll send an email notice before the change takes effect
- Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms
